A fresh solution for the cold chain
Cold chain logistics provider Easyfresh Netherlands is the newest customer of BlueBox System’s ocean platform. The company, which is part of the Spanish group Easyfresh Logistics, now gains access to data from 98% of all ocean freight shipments, thus enhancing transparency.
By using BlueBox Ocean, Easyfresh Netherlands can optimise its transport solutions by keeping track of its perishable shipments and ensuring temperature control. BlueBox Ocean provides insight into real-time updates on shipment status and cargo location as well as container details, which improves container management processes.
“Verifiable temperature management throughout the supply chain is critical to ensure the quality of perishable goods,” says Teun Messemaker, global manager sea freight, Easyfresh Netherlands. Easyfresh plans to roll out the solution at other offices, such as in Ireland, Chile, and Spain. (mk)
