A debut in Dubai
A central hub in Dubai is Gruber Logistics’ latest global expansion project, marking its entrance into the Middle Eastern market. The company has been operating out of the UAE site since late summer, specialising in project logistics and air and sea freight.
Once Gruber settles into the new hub, it will seek to expand both its service portfolio and the team of employees backing it. A perk of this foothold in the region is its strategic connections to neighbouring economies and a growing import and export business.
A key focus will be on digitalisation and sustainability of logistics. Led by Carsten Sommer and Samar Helmy (pictured above), the local branch is set to capitalise on economic upswings in the Middle East and North Africa by combining its international reach with local expertise. (mk
