A base in Bratislava
The Germany-based Arnold Group is expanding its network into Bratislava (Slovakia) and looking to benefit from its strategic port. With a transhipment capacity of around 2 million t of goods per year, the port of Bratislava is an important hub for freight forwarding in the region.
Arnold Group will be opening a site at the port, which is well equipped for heavy goods logistics, offering a tandem crane capacity of up to 560 t. The group is also focusing on expanding its 4PL offering.
The facility is scheduled to open on 1 September, when Jonathan Heinemann will join the group. The project and heavy load logistics expert has worked for Arnold Group in the past and is familiar with the Slovakian market. (mk)
