80 biodiesel trucks join fleet in Bolzano
For Gruber Logistics in South Tyrol (Italy), sustainability and environmental conservation have been an integral part of its corporate philosophy for decades.
The haulier invested in an additional new Scania R 450 4x2 biodiesel trucks in December 2021. All in all, the truck manufacturer delivered over 80 trucks to Gruber last year. The key benefit of biodiesel trucks is that they are already available and already contribute to a massive reduction in carbon emissions in freight transport.
Overall, Gruber's fleet consists of around 1,500 transport units including 7.5 t trucks, special vehicles for heavyweight freight and special transport vehicles with a total weight of up to 170 t. (ben)
