775,000 carbon-free km

Logistics services provider Fiege has installed 18 charging points for electric cars at its Ibbenbüren site, bringing the family-owned company’s e-mobility network up to 150 e-charging points in Germany. The upgrade follows the 21 charging points at the company’s headquarters at Münster/Osnabrück Airport and the 20 charging points at the healthcare logistics centre in Barleben near Magdeburg.

In 2023, around 155,000 kilowatt hours of electricity were charged in the entire Fiege infrastructure. With an average consumption of 20 KWh per 100 km, this corresponds to a CO2-neutral mileage of around 775,000 km. (ben)
