70 ultra-fast charging points
Shurgard, an operator of self-storage facilities in Europe, and LEAP24, a provider of ultra-fast charging stations for electric commercial vehicles, have signed a strategic partnership agreement to introduce ultra-fast charging stations at Shurgard locations in the UK and the Netherlands.
Around 70 Shurgard locations - 24 sites in and around London in the UK and 46 fast-charging points in the Netherlands - will be electrified. Each ultra-fast charging ‘point’ will consist of two parking spaces and a 240 kW dual fast charger capable of recharging vehicles to approximately 80% in 30 minutes. Each location is open 24 hours a day, is publicly accessible, and accepts all common charging and bank cards. (ben)
