66 m mobile crane lifts over 9 t
Crane and special haulage contractor Beokran has taken delivery of the first Liebherr LTM 1150-5.3 mobile crane in Serbia. The new 150 t crane will complement the Belgrade-based company’s crane fleet that comprises units with lifting capacities of 130 and 200 t.
The 66 m telescopic boom was an important criterion for the company’s decision. The telescopic boom on the new LTM 1150-5.3 is 6 m longer than the one on its predecessor.
At the same length of 60 m, the new five-axle crane can hoist 12 t when fully raised – 1.5 t more than its predecessor. When fully extended to 66 m, the new crane has a lifting capacity of over 9 t, Liebherr said. (ben)
