65th birthday
The German-Dutch family-owned company de Beijer Groep is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year. De Beijer specialises production, trade and logistics of raw materials.
Founded by Wil de Beijer Senior in Arnheim (the Netherlands) in 1956, the company acquired sand and gravel quarries but also transport capacities on the water and the roads.
Today, the company is headquartered in Dodewaard in the Netherlands and has a German head office in Duisburg. The group also owns inland barges and a truck fleet and offers logistics services at its hubs in Dodewaard and Duisburg. It is proud to bear the Dutch sustainability seal “NL Greenlabel”. (sh)
