50 flat cars for transport timber in Irkutsk region
Russia-based freight car manufacturer United Wagon Company UWC will supply the Russian leasing company Sberbank with 50 flat cars for the transportation of timber freight. Delivery is planned for October 2019.
The freight cars will join the fleet of the Lesresurs-RusForest group of companies in the Irkutsk region, which is engaged in lumber production. The ordered flat car model is designed to transport timber from 3 to 13 m long, has a payload capacity of 74 t and a loading volume of 122 cbm. It can transport up to 10 cbm more freight than standard models. (ben)
