50 candles for Trans-o-Flex
Express services provider Trans-o-Flex, a specialist for medical health products and other sensitive goods, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with all its employees at all its locations in Germany: On 2 November the company will kick off an online event from its headquarters in Weinheim. After that, each location will continue celebrating offline.
Trans-o-Flex was founded in 1971 as a provider of transport services for the German wholesale industry. Five German freight forwarders joined forces for this project. In 1988, Trans-o-Flex added warehousing, order picking and other value added services to its portfolio.
With the help of foreign subsidiaries and European partners, Trans-o-Flex created the Eurodis brand in 1993 and started its expansion to the rest of Europe. Finally, Austrian Post took over full ownership in 2008, until the current majority shareholders Schoeller Group and Amberger Group joined in 2016. (sh)
