48% rise for women in management in a year
Chapman Freeborn, a global air charter specialist, has reported a 48% increase in women in management positions over the past year, alongside a 9% rise in female employees. The enterprise, which provides charter solutions for passenger and cargo transport, has invested heavily in recruitment, training and retention, growing its overall workforce by 3%.
“Chapman Freeborn values ability and performance over individual characteristics. We aim for gender balance, unlike the wider aviation industry, which remains heavily male-dominated,” said Laura Smith, Chapman Freeborn’s senior UK HR business partner.
The entity is working towards a more even gender split and continues to implement policies that support career development and equal opportunities. “There’s still work to do, but we’ll keep bolstering and celebrating our colleagues, regardless of their gender identity,” Smith added.
Chapman Freeborn remains committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. (ah)
