460 hp more for truck fleet
The Swiss transport company Wüthrich has added a Renault Trucks T460 4x2 to its fleet, making it the seventh Renault vehicle. The haulier specialises in national transports, mainly timber transports as full loads. Other mainstays are haulage contracts for meat by-products and general cargo shipments for the construction industry.
The transporter's fleet includes a 3.5 t tractor, a category C1 tractor unit and five heavy trucks. The new 44 t tractor is equipped with an in-line six-cylinder engine and a 460 hp engine. It has a torque of 2200 Nm. The built-in turbo compound technology enables fuel savings of up to 10%, the French truck manufacturer says. (ben)
