45 t of food from Paris to Africa
Royal Air Marco Cargo and Air Charter Service (ACS), a major provider of urgent humanitarian logistics services, teamed up to operate a charter flight last month, shipping nearly 45 t of food from Paris to Africa.
The flight, commissioned by a renowned non-governmental organisation, was carried out by the North African airline's B767-300 freighter. This was the second successful cooperation between the two companies.
Against a backdrop of scarce air transport capacity, the airline and the charter broker have agreed to combine their respective expertise to provide support for remote countries or populations in need of humanitarian aid. (ah)
