40 years of Transland
Transland Spedition is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The logistics service provider started off with three employees in Dillenburg (Germany) in 1979.
It first focused on the export of goods to Ireland. Now the company, which has belonged to the Zufall logistics group since 2007, employs a staff of about 180 employees at its headquarters in Haiger (Hesse).
Meik Hilk, authorised representative and head of the department for overland transports in Europe at Transland, says: “Transland has covered an enormous journey over the 40 years since the creation of the company with three employees in a former lottery receiving office. This testifies to the good and trusting cooperation with customers and partners, but it also says a lot about the local staff’s long-standing commitment, for which we're very grateful.” (mw)
