20% more local products


LTG Cargo transported 27.2 million t of freight in 2023, 2.5 million t more than expected. Most of the cargoes were oil and oil products, which amounted to 9.4 million t, about the same volume as 2022. The Lithuanian carrier shipped some 5.5. million t of construction materials, while agricultural products contributed 4.7 million t, around a third more than in 2022.

 

The company also recorded a significant increase in domestic transport volumes (+20%) to about 7.7 million t. Freight transport to and from Klaipeda Seaport amounted to 9.1 million t. On the intermodal route to Germany, the company had carried 11,018 teu by the end of December. (ben)
