100 and more converted Airbus aircraft

Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) has redelivered its 100th converted freighter aircraft, an A330P2F, from an EFW facility in China. To date, 49 A330P2F, 47 A321P2F and four A320P2F converted by EFW have joined the global fleet of Airbus freighter aircraft.

China will continue to play a major role for EFW, as this centre of excellence for Airbus passenger-to-freighter conversions and JV of ST Engineering and Airbus has just signed an MOU with HNA Aviation Group.

Under the agreement, EFW will support Grand China Aircraft Maintenance Services, a subsidiary of HNA Aviation Group, with A330P2F conversions and in the setting up of A330P2F capabilities at the latter’s aerospace facility at Meilan airport, Haikou, becoming EFW's fourth modification site for its freighter conversion programmes in China.
