Jul 8, 2026 at 10:09 AMHeidmar Maritime Holdings Corp. has completed the acquisition of Q-Shipping BV, a company specializing in ship management and crewing. With this acquisition, Heidmar expands its fleet by nine vessels and aims to strengthen its operational presence in the Netherlands and Turkey. Additionally, a dedicated crewing capacity will be established in Ukraine, as the company reports. The transaction was completed for approximately $0.2 million and did not require any further regulatory approvals.
Geographical presence
Through the acquisition, Heidmar now manages a total of around 50 vessels in commercial management and 16 vessels in technical management. According to the company, this transaction is part of its strategy to promote resource-efficient growth. With the expansion of the fleet and geographical reach, Heidmar aims to enhance its operational presence in two maritime centers. The Netherlands and Turkey offer strategic advantages from a corporate perspective, while the new crewing platform in Ukraine improves access to experienced seafarers and complements the company’s internal technical and crewing capacities.
