Improved rail and truck conditions in Genoa and Savona
Jul 6, 2026 at 12:38 PMFM Logistic has launched a partnership with Adopt at the cosmetic platform in Escrennes (Loiret). This collaboration, which is set to last for six years, aims to optimize logistics for the perfume manufacturer and strengthen local value creation in France. The platform is located in close proximity to Adopt’s production facility, enabling efficient synchronization between manufacturing and distribution.
Strategic partnership for local value creation
The two companies share a similar corporate philosophy. Both are family-owned and rooted in France, placing value on quality and sustainable practices. The contract represents a significant commitment aimed at long-term collaboration. FM Logistic has proven to be a suitable partner for Adopt due to its operational efficiency and expertise in cosmetic logistics.
The choice of the platform in Escrennes is part of a strategy that focuses on short transport routes. Adopt’s production facility is only about 40 minutes away, minimizing transportation efforts and increasing efficiency. Daily shuttle connections between the two locations support this logistics strategy.
“At Adopt, we emphasize Made in France at every stage of our value chain. Our perfumes are produced in Château-Renard and are now distributed from Escrennes, which represents a consistent and short delivery route,” explained Virginie Leys, Director of Operations at Adopt. She emphasized that the choice of FM Logistic as a partner is based on a shared corporate culture focused on quality and long-term collaboration.
Growth through tailored logistics solutions
The platform, which opened in 2019 and is already working for Sephora, meets the specific requirements for storing alcoholic perfumes and other cosmetic products. FM Logistic plans to expand logistics activities for Adopt in three phases.
In the first phase, lasting until 2026, an area of approximately 10,000 m² will be utilized, with the goal of expanding this to 15,000 m². Operations commenced within just 2.5 months, successfully managing the increase in demand during the Mother’s Day period. The second phase involves a move to a newly built extension of the site, which will include an automated zone for consolidation and order preparation. The third phase, planned for 2028, will involve further increases in volumes and stabilization of processes.
The platform also offers the possibility of expanding by up to 55,000 m² in the future, providing Adopt with a flexible and long-term perspective for growth. Currently, FM Logistic manages over 27 million units in the warehouse, with a forecast of 57 million units and 22,200 pallets shipped per year.
To meet the requirements for delivery within 24 hours, FM Logistic has implemented special technological solutions, including 12 Baléa vehicles that allow simultaneous processing of orders and provide integrated weight control.
