Jul 3, 2026 at 10:36 AMVossloh has received two contracts for the supply of fastening systems for new high-speed rail lines in Shandong Province, China. The contract value amounts to approximately 60 million euros, and the production of the required components will take place at the Vossloh plant in Kunshan. The first deliveries are scheduled for 2027, as the company reports.
Details on the new lines
The high-speed line Jinan–Zhaozhuang spans about 269 kilometers and connects the provincial capital Jinan with economically significant regions in southern Shandong. This line also serves a tourist function, as it links historical sites, including the birthplace of Confucius in Qufu.
The second line, Qingdao–Zhucheng, has a length of approximately 109 kilometers and connects the deep-sea port of Qingdao with the industrial centers in Jinan as well as the tourist regions in the south. Both lines are designed for high-speed trains that can reach speeds of up to 350 kilometers per hour. The „Vossloh System 300“ will be used for the fastening of the tracks on both lines. According to the manufacturer, this system has established itself internationally as the standard for high-speed lines on concrete slabs, also known as solid track.
