
ACS transports 65 tons of cargo to Chicago
Jun 19, 2026 at 4:21 PMFIATA has welcomed a new professional, Margarita Kato, to its headquarters in Geneva, who will support the team in the areas of international trade law, air freight, and trade promotion. Kato will serve as an International Trade Law Officer, specifically assisting the Advisory Board on Legal Matters (ABLM) and the Air Freight Institute (AFI).
She is a qualified solicitor in England and obtained her LL.B degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to joining FIATA, she worked as a representative of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Singapore. Previously, she worked as a solicitor at the prestigious law firm Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW) in London.
Kato’s inclusion in the FIATA team is seen as a significant step towards strengthening the legal aspects of international trade and air freight. The organization aims to expand its expertise in these areas and represent the interests of its members more effectively.
