GATE launches rental program for IVECO eJolly
Jun 12, 2026 at 2:20 PMThe ENNA Logic, a logistics company of the Croatian ENNA Group, has ordered five Vectron multi-system locomotives from Siemens Mobility. As part of this order, a comprehensive maintenance contract for a period of up to 30 years has also been concluded. The first deliveries are planned for spring 2027, with maintenance services set to begin in the same year.
Multinational deployment opportunities
The Vectron locomotives will be certified for use in eleven European countries, including Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia, Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, and Bulgaria. These features make them particularly suitable for international freight transport and the logistics operations of ENNA Logic along key European transport corridors.
The locomotives of the Vectron platform are manufactured at Siemens Mobility’s locomotive plant in Munich and belong to one of the most successful locomotive families in Europe, known for their high reliability, flexibility, and efficiency throughout their entire lifecycle.
Investment in the future of rail freight transport
Ana Soldo, CEO of ENNA Logic, commented on the order:
“This investment represents an important step in ENNA Logic’s long-term growth and reaffirms our commitment to further strengthening international rail freight services for our customers in the region. It reflects our confidence in proven, high-performance technology and in a long-term maintenance partnership that enhances reliability, operational efficiency, and competitiveness.”
Dr. sc. Krešimir Nevistić, head of Siemens Mobility Croatia, added:
“The Vectron as a modular multi-system platform with support for three voltage levels enables efficient cross-border transport without the need to change locomotives at borders. This significantly reduces operational downtime and increases the efficiency of transport processes. Furthermore, the integrated multi-year service model provides the user with predictability of maintenance costs and a high level of technical reliability throughout the entire lifecycle.”
Siemens Mobility has sold nearly 3,000 Vectron locomotives to more than 115 customers so far, with some variants reaching top speeds of up to 230 km/h. These vehicles are approved for operation in 20 countries and have covered more than 1.4 billion kilometers in service.
