Semi-trailer market expands with rising freight demand
Mar 9, 2026 at 10:26 AMVossloh has concluded a new framework agreement with Deutsche Bahn (DB) for the supply of large switch components. The contract, which is set for a duration of three years, includes deliveries until 2028 and also features two optional years. The agreement is divided into various feasibility solutions and encompasses components such as heart pieces, tongue devices, and individual parts for switches. Depending on the call-off behavior, the volume over the duration of up to five years could exceed the mark of 100 million euros, as Vossloh reports.
