Jan 15, 2026 at 9:14 AMSwissport has appointed Maria Grigorova as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Her term begins on February 16, 2026. Grigorova brings extensive experience from various industries, both in publicly traded and private equity-led companies.
Prior to her transition to Swissport, she worked at the Adecco Group, an internationally operating provider of integrated talent solutions, listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and operating in 60 countries. Since 2022, Grigorova has served as Group Senior Vice President and Global Head of Finance for Adecco’s largest business unit, which generates annual revenues of €18 billion. In this role, she led a comprehensive transformation of the finance department and previously served as the company’s Deputy CFO.
Grigorova has a 30-year career in senior finance positions at companies such as JLL, Ideal Standard (part of the Bain Capital portfolio), Newell Rubbermaid, and Procter & Gamble. She succeeds Craig Cavin, who served as interim CFO of Swissport since April 2025. During this time, the company maintained strong financial performance and operational excellence, positioning itself as a leading provider of aviation services worldwide.
