Practical Tests within the EU Project MODI Successfully Completed
Jul 3, 2025 at 4:43 PMAs of July 1st, KTV Speditionsgesellschaft mbH, part of the GREIWING corporate group, will take over the logistics services at the Lübz location for Saint-Gobain ISOVER G+H AG. The high-performance insulation product “ULTIMATE” will be stored, transshipped, and loaded in 2,000 variants. With 17 employees and a 24/7 shift operation in production acceptance, this is the first on-site project for KTV.
(Greven/Lübz) “The collaboration with ISOVER in Lübz is a strong sign of trust for us and a milestone for our on-site business,” says Matthias Geiss, Managing Director of the GREIWING corporate group. The partnership at eye level underscores KTV’s performance capability and readiness to serve. By taking over the logistics services at the site, KTV is realizing its first on-site project under its own responsibility – operationally supported by GREIWING employees. “The close cooperation of both companies shows how we, as a corporate group, can act powerfully and future-oriented together,” Geiss adds. GREIWING has extensive expertise in plant logistics and is already successfully implementing its eleventh on-site project in Lübz.
KTV will now handle storage, goods transshipment, and loading at the production site in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for the specialist in energy-efficient insulation materials. The warehouse includes more than 15,800 pallet spaces, distributed across two halls and spacious outdoor areas. It is used for handling the finished product “ULTIMATE,” a high-performance insulation material sold in approximately 2,000 variants, primarily used in shipbuilding and industrial construction.
Melanie Kettler, Logistics Manager at Saint-Gobain ISOVER G+H AG, sees the new site operation in Lübz as a joint step forward – both operationally and strategically: “With KTV and GREIWING, we have partners by our side who understand and implement our requirements for efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in logistics.” In search of a new logistics service provider, the traditional insulation brand approached KTV directly. For over 20 years, the freight forwarding company has been a reliable transport service provider for ISOVER. The expansion of logistics services is a clear sign for both companies, confirming the existing trust and successful collaboration of the past years.
Closed Value Chain
Starting July 1, 2025, 17 KTV employees will be deployed in Lübz, including two administrative staff, one supervisor, and 14 forklift operators who will work in production acceptance in a continuous 24/7 shift system as well as in the warehouse and loading. The site also sets clear standards in terms of sustainability: The required electricity comes 100 percent from renewable energies, specifically from wind and solar power. “Moreover, we place great importance on ensuring that defective products and returns are fully recycled at the plant and reintroduced into the production cycle,” says Kettler. This creates a resource-saving, closed value chain.
