Daher appoints Michel Denis as CEO

The board of directors of the French aircraft manufacturer, industrial company, industrial service provider, and logistics provider Daher has announced the appointment of Michel Denis as the new CEO of the company. This decision will take effect on July 1, 2026. Denis brings extensive experience from various leadership positions in the industry and service sectors.

Experience and qualifications

A graduate of École Centrale de Lyon and ESSEC, Denis served as CEO of Manitou Group for over twelve years prior to his appointment at Daher, a global leader in material handling and people transport. Under his leadership, the company experienced significant international expansion and achieved a revenue of €2.7 billion. Denis has also held leadership positions at Dalkia and Johnson Controls and was CEO of the Fraikin Group, which operates in the rental of commercial vehicles.

Thibault Scaramanga, chairman of the board, emphasizes the complementary skills of Denis and Aymeric Daher, the current deputy CEO. This combination is intended to strengthen the strategic direction of the company and drive Daher’s development forward. Scaramanga expressed confidence in Denis‘ ability to lead transformations while managing the interests of stakeholders in a family-owned business.

Until his appointment, Thibault Scaramanga will continue to serve as interim CEO.
