In this newly created position, he will report directly to Chief Commercial Officer Karen Bomber. His primary focus will be on driving scalable growth, creating value, and strengthening long-term partnerships. The headquarters of GXO in Greenwich, Connecticut, will be his new workplace.
Karen Bomber commented on Kara’s appointment, emphasizing his passion for building valuable, long-term customer relationships. She highlighted that his experience in managing complex enterprise clients makes him well-suited to ensure commercial excellence.
Kara brings over 25 years of experience in leading transformation processes in supply chain and customer management. Prior to joining GXO, he was CEO of Prose on Pixels for the Americas region and CEO of Williams Lea Tag, a company owned by DHL. He also served as Managing Director for Client Services at Williams Lea.
In his new role, Kara stated that the transition to GXO represents a natural progression in his career. He sees the opportunity to leverage his expertise in scaling businesses and managing complex customer relationships in a global context. Kara is optimistic about the opportunities at GXO and looks forward to collaborating with the team.
