The Texas-based aviation software provider CPaT Global has signed a new contract with the U.S. cargo airline 21 Air to provide customized training solutions for the operation of Boeing B767 freighter aircraft. As part of the program, courses on aircraft systems will be offered, which include access to the platform „CPaT Invent.“ This allows the airline to develop and manage tailored training content that aligns with its operational requirements.
The training offering includes both initial and recurrent training for the crews of the B767 freighters. The training will be delivered through a digital learning management system that enables access from multiple devices as well as offline functionalities. Additional modules include interactive elements such as simulations and knowledge assessments.
According to Greg Darrow, Vice President of Sales at CPaT Global, the collaboration supports training tailored to the airline’s procedures and standards. The program also integrates the CPaT Aircraft Procedures Suite, which includes virtual cockpit and system training tools to prepare crews for simulator sessions.
The agreement comes at a time when 21 Air continues to solidify its position in the U.S. cargo market. At the same time, the Canadian operator Cargojet has recently divested its minority stake (25%) in the airline as part of a strategic realignment.
