Apr 1, 2026 at 10:55 AMThe GEODIS Group has completed the acquisition of Transports Malherbe after receiving approval from the relevant regulatory authorities. Transports Malherbe is established as a specialist in full-load road transport and is particularly active in the agricultural, food, and retail sectors, as stated by GEODIS. This acquisition is intended to enable GEODIS to strengthen its network in France and enhance support for its customers.
Strengthening market position
With the acquisition, GEODIS aims to solidify its position as one of the three largest providers of less-than-truckload and full-load services in the country. The combined revenue in this segment is expected to rise to nearly 2 billion euros through the integration of Transports Malherbe. The synergies between the teams and the complementary offerings of both companies are expected to support GEODIS’s growth objectives.
Marie-Christine Lombard, CEO of GEODIS, commented on the acquisition: “The acquisition of Transports Malherbe fully aligns with our strategy to further develop and strengthen our offering in the French market. It allows us to expand our presence in key sectors such as agriculture, food, and retail while leveraging the recognized expertise and know-how of the Malherbe teams.”
