The company, listed on NASDAQ under the ticker ASLE, sees this partnership as an opportunity to support the growing logistics needs in Central Asia. Stratos Freight is based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and operates at the intersection of Asia and Europe.
Expansion of Cargo Capacities
The Boeing 757-200PCF will expand Stratos Freight’s fleet and support planned as well as charter cargo operations in Central Asia and beyond. The airline serves key trade routes connecting China, the Middle East, and Europe. Craig Wright, Senior Vice President and Head of Asset Management at AerSale, emphasizes the versatility and efficiency of the Boeing 757 for regional cargo operations. He expressed positive sentiments about the partnership with Stratos Freight and highlighted that this lease underscores AerSale’s ability to provide tailored solutions for cargo operators worldwide.
