Mar 30, 2026 at 10:27 AMThe „Global Wind Renewable Energy“ division of deugro has expanded its activities in Denmark with the opening of a new location in Lindø at the Port of Odense. The new branch includes a storage area of 28,000 square meters and is equipped with specialized staff and handling equipment for large components. This facility is intended to support the handling and storage of oversized cargo for the wind industry, as the company reports.
Strategic location choice
According to Peter Alstrup Haubro, Head of the Renewable Energy Supply Chain at deugro, the new facility will provide an important operational base near significant manufacturers and project sites. He emphasizes that the expansion strengthens the supply chain solutions in the renewable energy sector. „It helps us provide our customers with simple, practical, and scalable support,“ explains Haubro.
The daily operations in Lindø are managed by Ricky Bartsch, Project Coordinator at deugro. Bartsch brings local expertise and is well-connected in the region. „I have been part of the operations in Lindø for many years and am proud to continue this journey with deugro. We want to keep things simple: safe handling, clear communication, and reliable service for our customers,“ Bartsch said regarding the opening of the new location.
