This decision took effect on March 1, 2026, and is part of the strategy of the southern French company to structure and strengthen its transport activities on an international level. ID Logistics, a leading company in contractual logistics, is already active in several European countries as well as worldwide.
Strategic Realignment in the Transport Sector
The appointment of Emmanuel Arnaud aims to harmonize the transport organization within the various countries of the company. His task will be to share expertise and support customers in managing their cross-border logistics flows. The collaboration between logistics and transport is to be intensified.
Arnaud brings over 30 years of experience in transport and supply chain. In his new role, he will work closely with local teams as well as central functions. A focus of his work will be the consolidation of existing expertise and the development of cross-border synergies. The goal is to create a coherent transport organization within the company that is capable of offering sustainable transport solutions to large international customers of ID Logistics and optimizing their logistics flows.
Professional Background of Emmanuel Arnaud
Arnaud holds a degree from the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Évry. He began his career at Groupe Giraud before moving to TNT Logistics. He then spent nearly 18 years at GEFCO, where he held various management positions in road, air, sea, and logistics. Most recently, he served as Director of European Operations at XPO Logistics and was a member of the European Executive Committee.
