Mar 20, 2026 at 9:44 AMThe Rhenus Group has opened a new office in Tbilisi, Georgia, to expand its presence along the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor. With this branch, the company is now represented in all key markets of the corridor, including Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, according to a statement. This development is intended to enable Rhenus to ensure operational coverage of one of the trade routes between Europe and Asia.
Strategic focus on the eurasian market
The opening of the office in Tbilisi is part of a long-term strategy aimed at improving logistical infrastructure and operational capabilities in Central Asia and the South Caucasus, according to the company. The Trans-Caspian Corridor is increasingly gaining importance as a strategic trade axis for goods traffic in Eurasia. Companies are therefore increasingly seeking alternatives to traditional transport routes between Europe and Asia, Rhenus reports.
