The platform is now available in Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. With the slogan „Don’t just buy, Joybuy,“ Joybuy positions itself as a user-friendly shopping alternative for European consumers.
Market Position and Offering
JD.com, the largest retailer in China by revenue, has been listed on Nasdaq since 2014 and also has a secondary listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. A revenue of $187 billion is projected for 2025, and the company ranks 44th on the Fortune Global 500. Joybuy offers a comprehensive range of products, including electronics, household appliances, beauty products, home goods, food, and everyday necessities. The platform serves as a brand-oriented sales outlet for international and local brands, enabling direct sourcing from renowned manufacturers.
Delivery Options and Customer Service
Joybuy stands out with its fast and reliable delivery service. In the United Kingdom, over 17 million people, including 4.5 million households, can benefit from same-day delivery, while in France, 12 million people (5 million households) and in Germany, 5 million people (2 million households) can do the same. The „Double 11“ express delivery service allows customers to place orders by 11 a.m. and receive them the same day by 11 p.m. Orders placed after 11 p.m. will be delivered the following day. This service is provided by the delivery service JoyExpress.
The company operates more than 60 warehouses and depots across Europe, including a 63,000 m² warehouse in Paris and three own warehouses with a total area of over 90,000 m² in Germany (Oberhausen) and the United Kingdom (Milton Keynes and Luton). Additionally, over 20,000 pickup points are available, including 100 locker locations in Germany and 400 in the United Kingdom.
