Mar 17, 2026 at 11:14 AMRöhlig Logistics has realigned its management structure in Chile and Latin America to further drive growth in the region. Christian Busch (photo) took over as Managing Director of Röhlig Chile on March 10, 2026. He succeeds Anthony Roe, who has been instrumental in building and developing the company in Chile for over two decades.
Experience and Goals of the New Managing Director
Busch brings more than 25 years of experience in the international logistics and freight forwarding industry. Prior to joining Röhlig, he held leadership positions at Kühne+Nagel and previously at DB Schenker. In these roles, he was responsible for managing complex supply chains, expanding national organizations, and implementing strategic growth initiatives. In his new role, Busch will lead the further development of Röhlig Logistics‘ business in Chile and strengthen the company’s market position in the country. Michael Gerding, Regional CEO Latin America at Röhlig Logistics, commented on Busch’s appointment: „With Christian Busch, we gain a leader with extensive international experience and strong operational knowledge. He brings exactly the right expertise to successfully advance our business in Chile and the region.“
Busch himself sees great potential for further growth: „Chile is an important logistics and trade hub in Latin America with excellent prospects. Together with our local team, I want to further strengthen our market position, unlock new business opportunities, and support our customers with reliable and innovative logistics solutions.“
Realignment of the Leadership Structure
As part of the reorganization, Anthony Roe will take on the role of Regional Trade Lane Director for Latin America. In this position, he will be responsible for the strategic development of key trade routes within Latin America and their connection to significant global markets such as China, India, Europe, and the USA. Gerding thanked Roe for his outstanding contributions and many years of service to Röhlig in Chile: „He has played a crucial role in the development of the location, and we are pleased that he will now bring his experience to a regional role.“
Special thanks go to Héctor Midolo, who, in addition to his role as Chief Commercial Officer Latin America, has served as Interim Managing Director of Röhlig Chile since December. He will continue to support the transition phase in the coming weeks. Gerding emphasized: „We would like to thank Héctor for his strong commitment and leadership during this transition period. His efforts have ensured continuity and stability in our organization in Chile.“
