Since its founding in 2006, the company has systematically expanded its technical capabilities and infrastructure to strengthen its position in the aircraft maintenance sector in the Caucasus region.
Expansion of Services and Certifications
A significant milestone in the company’s history was the acquisition of EASA PART 145 certification in 2010. This certification enabled Silk Way Technics to expand its service portfolio to include the maintenance of aircraft from manufacturers Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, and Gulfstream. Since then, the company has continuously developed its operational capacities while adhering to international aviation standards and best practices.
Currently, Silk Way Technics offers both line and base maintenance services for the fleet of Silk Way West Airlines and serves a wide range of national and international operators. Clients include Azerbaijan Airlines and ASG Business Aviation, as well as renowned international airlines such as Air Astana, Air Belgium, Israir Airlines, Jazeera Airways, Kuwait Airways, Pegasus Airlines, Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Uzbekistan Airways, and Wizz Air Hungary. This list reflects the trust placed in the technical expertise and operational standards of Silk Way Technics.

Technical Infrastructure and Employees
Silk Way Technics employs over 600 certified technicians and provides maintenance and repair services for a diverse fleet that supports both national and international operators. The company operates from a hangar complex covering 26,000 m² at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, the largest facility of its kind in the Caspian and Central Asian region. Silk Way Technics holds international approvals, including EASA and FAA, and is recognized by several aviation authorities worldwide.
