ECS promotes executives internally in the Nordic air freight segment

The ECS Group is promoting a new generation of managers in its Nordic air cargo operations as part of a broader leadership transition. The strategy focuses on developing internal talent that combines operational experience, commercial expertise and digital capabilities.

Recent appointments illustrate this approach. Mathias Henriksson, the managing director of Nordic GSA, and Marcus Móran, the country manager for Denmark at Universal GSA, both advanced from inside the organisation. Their progression reflects ECS’s focus on internal development and continuity in regional operations.

The latest promotion that is in line with this approach has seen Thomas Olesen become country manager for Denmark at Skylog Denmark. Having developed his career in Skylog and ECS, he represents the group’s long-term investment in talent development.

ECS Group CEO Jean Ceccaldi underlined the fact that “we’re empowering a new generation of leaders in the Nordic region who combine operational credibility with commercial drive and digital capability.” The company continues to invest in digital cargo tools and data platforms to support airline partners and improve operational performance.
