Mar 9, 2026 at 12:32 PMGebrüder Weiss concluded the fiscal year 2025 with a net revenue of 2.73 billion euros, representing a slight increase compared to the previous year, when revenue was 2.71 billion euros. Despite the challenging economic conditions in Europe, the company was able to gain market share and increase productivity, as recently reported.
Wolfram Senger-Weiss, Chairman of the Management Board, emphasizes the resilience of the company: “The economic conditions in 2025 were demanding – particularly in our Central European core markets. That we still managed to grow slightly while continuing to invest shows the performance and financial strength of our organization.” He adds that Europe remains the backbone of the business, while simultaneously seizing opportunities in global growth markets to further develop the network.
Stable financial base and employee count
According to the company, the equity ratio remained stable at over 60 percent. The number of employees remained constant at around 8,600. In the area of land transport in Europe, Gebrüder Weiss achieved revenue of 1.55 billion euros, reflecting a slight increase compared to 1.52 billion euros in 2024. While revenue in Germany saw a slight decline, the company was able to gain market share there. The position in Eastern Europe was also expanded, according to the logistics company. This positively impacted the home delivery business, which increased to 1.36 million deliveries, compared to 1.31 million in the previous year.
Development in air and sea transport
In the Air & Sea sector, transported volumes increased, particularly between Asia and Europe as well as in Asian trade. In air freight, volumes primarily rose in the e-commerce business between China and Europe. However, due to decreased freight rates, revenue in this segment was slightly below the previous year’s figure of 929 million euros, totaling 913 million euros, as reported by Gebrüder Weiss. In logistics, the company also reports increases: In contract logistics and supply chain management, it observes a seven percent rise to 147 million euros.
