In this role, she will drive the company’s strategic initiatives across the organization. Montgomery, who previously served as Vice President of Innovation, Research & Development, brings over 35 years of experience at Kenco and played a crucial role in launching and building the company’s innovation initiative.
In her previous position, Montgomery led the Kenco Innovation Lab, which focused on exploring, testing, and evaluating new technologies and ideas in the supply chain sector. She was also significantly involved in the first strategic co-innovation partnership with robotics manufacturer GreyOrange.
Strategic Partnerships and Transformation
In her new role, Montgomery will continue to work on positioning Kenco as a strategic partner. She plans to implement a best-practice program that addresses the intersection of lean principles, design thinking, and agile execution. These approaches aim to transform both Kenco and its customers. Over the past 18 months, this work has already generated over $3 million in value.
Denis Reilly, President and CEO of Kenco, emphasizes the importance of a solid understanding of the complexities of the supply chain before proposing solutions. „Future leaders must fully understand the supply chain challenges they wish to optimize,“ Reilly states. Montgomery will play a key role in establishing best-practice programs that promote a three-dimensional approach to the transformation of both customers and Kenco.
Additionally, Montgomery will lead several key strategic initiatives, including customer lifecycle management. She will work closely with the supply chain solutions and operations teams. Her expertise in supply chain, innovation methodologies, and strategic thinking approaches will help internal teams rethink and implement their strategic goals and visions.
