Joint venture improves logistics in Central America
Mar 2, 2026 at 11:24 AMConstellation Cold Logistics has integrated the shipping company Wohlert and Wohlert Kühl Logistik into its network. This integration marks the British company’s entry into the German market, representing a significant step in its European growth strategy.
Expansion of Capacities and Services
Through the acquisition, Constellation Cold Logistics gains an additional 40,000 pallet spaces in modern temperature-controlled facilities. Furthermore, the fleet now includes 150 vehicles used for the distribution of less-than-truckload (LTL) and full truckload (FTL) shipments. The nationwide network of refrigerated storage spaces and cross-docking facilities is also strengthened.
The Wohlert Group is known for its cold logistics and offers additional services such as shock freezing, order picking, import and export logistics, as well as crate cleaning. These competencies complement Constellation’s strategic goals of building a unified logistics platform in Europe. The integration of the Wohlert Group supports ongoing investments in capacities and services to meet the changing demands of customers in the food and logistics sectors.
Constellation Cold Logistics plans to expand service capacities and drive innovations in collaboration with the Wohlert Group. The aim is to create added value for customers and partners throughout the entire supply chain. The partnership is intended to strengthen the shared commitment to operational excellence and sustainable growth.
