Feb 26, 2026 at 3:37 PMThe GSSA 4RCargo, founded in 2021, has commenced its operations in the Baltic States and appointed Vladislavs Pecevics as Regional and Product Manager. With over 15 years of experience in the air freight industry, Pecevics will be responsible for expanding air freight connections between the Baltic States and the rest of the world.
The opening of the office in Riga, Latvia, marks the official launch of 4RCargo in the region, which includes Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. This expansion is part of the company’s strategy to enhance its geographical presence in Northern Europe and create access for shippers that leads from Northern Europe to the global market.
Matthew Taylor, Chief Commercial Officer of 4RCargo, commented on the appointment: „Vlads‘ extensive expertise in the Baltic market makes him the ideal addition to expand our presence and enable European exporters to access the global market.“
Pecevics emphasized the importance of the Baltic States for international trade: „The Baltics combine strong export activity, efficient airport infrastructure, and access to markets in Northern and Eastern Europe. By establishing a local presence, we can offer airlines and forwarders tailored commercial support, improved connectivity, and faster decision-making in a strategically important corridor.“
In his role as Product Manager, Pecevics will also be responsible for promoting 4RCargo’s tailored freight products. These products combine digital tools with a growing network to create added value for customers across Europe.
The expansion of 4RCargo into the Baltic States is seen as a significant step for both the company and the region.
