Feb 23, 2026 at 12:18 PMThe Toga Group has opened its first offices in Asia. The Dublin-based company, which houses several logistics firms in Ireland and the United Kingdom, has now established a branch in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The new offices of Toga Freight Services (ASIA) LLC are located near the international airport of Ho Chi Minh City, in a bustling freight forwarder village, as the company reports. This location allows access to bonded warehouses used for cross-docking activities at the Vietnamese port, the main port of Saigon. The Toga Group plans to position itself as the preferred consolidator for Asian manufacturers and freight forwarders, particularly for the UK and Irish markets.
The company will offer a service that connects directly from the ASEAN region and other markets in the Far East to Ireland. Robert Dickinson, CEO of the Toga Group, explained the background of the expansion: “Initially we have reacted to customer requirements who had requested us to have a presence in the region to try and mitigate risks caused by global political and economic tension.” According to Dickinson, the decision-making process for the expansion took over two years, during which the company analyzed the local conditions. He emphasizes that Vietnam, particularly Ho Chi Minh City, is quickly becoming a center for sea freight in the region and that the opportunities for the Toga Group are promising.
