Pontoon connection between Antwerp and Willebroek

PSA Antwerp, the Danser Group, and Hutchison Ports Europe Intermodal (HPEI) have signed a cooperation agreement to introduce a new barge connection between PSA’s Noordzee Terminal in Antwerp and the inland terminal Willebroek. The new service will be marketed under the name ‚Willebroek – PSAA Express‘ and operated by Hutchison Ports Belgium, a subsidiary of HPEI, as reported by PSA Antwerp.

Improvement of Inland Waterway Connections

With the weekly express service, the partners aim to optimize the predictability and quality of inland waterway connections to and from Antwerp. This is expected to lead to consistent transit times and greater transparency in the supply chain. Customers will also benefit from increased reliability in deliveries.
