Feb 19, 2026 at 11:57 AMAerios has introduced a new integration with CargoAi that allows real-time data on prices and capacities to be incorporated into the bidding process for air freight charters. This development aims to help air freight providers improve pricing accuracy and optimize revenues.
According to a statement from Aerios, a developer of software solutions for the air freight charter industry and a member of CargoTech, the module „Commercial Pricing Insights“ has been launched. This module utilizes aggregated real-time data from CargoAi to provide charter providers with better visibility into market conditions during the bidding process. Traditionally, charter providers have had limited access to current market data during the bidding phase and often rely on informal market knowledge or outdated data sources. Within larger companies, charter sales teams frequently operate independently from the general air freight sales teams, resulting in a lack of access to current air freight prices or information about the routes served.
The new module aims to bridge this gap by providing real-time air freight prices directly in the bidding process. It is integrated into the carrier app’s bidding generator and offers commercial context during pricing. Users can see how their bid compares to the broader market without having to switch between tools. The module displays the aggregated current market price as well as historical and projected trends, helping to identify the activity and frequency of the routes served.
Through the integration with CargoAi, the module delivers anonymized current and projected air freight prices, allowing users to gain market insights without disclosing the pricing strategies of individual airlines or competitors. Matt Petot, founder and CEO of CargoAi, commented on the partnership: „We welcome this collaboration with Aerios, which is part of a range of other industry players that utilize our aggregated real-time data in their processes. Real-time transparency over the coming weeks regarding price and capacity trends is crucial for an industry that has long relied on outdated data.“
By merging real-time data on prices and capacity trends into the bidding process, the „Commercial Pricing Insights“ module enables providers to have a clearer view of their market position and the ability to create more competitive and informed bids. Ultimately, this is expected to increase revenues.
