The Post Wertlogistik, a subsidiary of Österreichische Post AG, has been awarded the contract for the entire cash management of SPAR Österreich. The contract includes the transport of daily cash solutions as well as the delivery of change to more than 850 locations in Austria that belong to the brands SPAR, EUROSPAR, INTERSPAR, Maximarkt, and independent SPAR retailers, as the company reports.
Comprehensive Services for SPAR
In this context, Post Wertlogistik will operate as the largest cash transporter in Austria, according to its own statements. Hans K. Reisch, CEO of SPAR, commented on the decision: “We need a service provider with the appropriate structure for our cash logistics to serve our markets across Austria. Additionally, we were looking for a partner with highly developed security services. Post Wertlogistik has convinced us.”
