Successful air freight transport to Kazakhstan
Feb 17, 2026 at 1:14 PMSamskip has reached an agreement with the short-sea and multimodal operator CLdN to sell its freight business between Great Britain and Ireland. This includes both door-to-door and quay-to-quay services. The decision to divest this business area is intended to ensure continuity and service for customers while Samskip focuses on the development of other areas of its network, the company states.
Focus on Sustainable Development
According to Samskip, the sale of the UK-Ireland business will allow the company to concentrate more intensively on its multinational long-haul network. This network connects destinations in Europe, the Nordic countries, the Baltic states, and North Africa. The restructuring is part of a strategy that also places the decarbonization of customers‘ supply chains at its core.
