GEODIS has developed a multimodal logistics solution to support MND in delivering equipment for the Chimgan Resort in Uzbekistan. Starting in March 2026, the equipment needed for the construction of the ski area will be transported from various European locations. The logistics company plans to utilize a multimodal route consisting of road and sea transport to bring the shipments to the Tchatkal Mountains, as stated.
MND, a French industrial group, specializes in cable mobility, snow systems, mountain safety, and leisure infrastructure. The company is supplying the equipment for the planned Chimgan tourist resort, located northeast of Tashkent. Last year, GEODIS completed 92 deliveries for MND, including four convoys that transported cable cars and other infrastructure components to Uzbekistan.
The equipment includes chairlifts, gondolas, an alpine roller coaster, ziplines, and other facilities intended to contribute to the development of the ski area. The project aims to develop Chimgan into a significant destination for mountain tourism and establish it as one of the leading leisure centers in Central Asia.
