Feb 16, 2026 at 9:52 AMThe Customs Support Group (CSG) has announced the acquisition of the customs broker Beagans Limited from Dundalk. With this move, CSG aims to strengthen its market position in the area of customs clearance in Ireland. Beagans, a company established in 1953, specializes in customs clearance and excise duty management. The company is AEO-certified and brings experience in the food and agriculture sectors.
By integrating Beagans into its portfolio, CSG not only expands its presence in the United Kingdom and Ireland but also increases the number of its employees in these regions to approximately 250 professionals, according to company statements. This measure is intended to enhance CSG’s cross-border support and operational capacities. Over the years, Beagans has built a network of clients in Ireland and Northern Ireland. According to CSG, the company is skilled in handling exports and imports through the Port of Dublin, which is strategically important for the business.
„By combining Beagans Limited’s deep market expertise with our European network, we can offer clients even more comprehensive solutions, greater capacity, and a streamlined UK–Ireland goods flow,“ said John Wegman (pictured), CEO of CSG.
