Feb 12, 2026 at 1:35 PMMYCRANE has appointed Aziz Amri as the new Director of Sales and Marketing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This decision aims to strengthen the company’s commercial leadership as MYCRANE expands its activities in the Gulf region. Amri will be based in Riyadh and will lead the market strategy for both the crane rental platform and MYCRANE’s trading division in Saudi Arabia. This occurs in the context of ongoing developments in the construction and industrial sector of the Kingdom, driven by Vision 2030.
Amri’s appointment follows the earlier appointment of Sudheesh Mohan as Head of Sales and Marketing, who joined MYCRANE in 2025 to lead the company’s commercial activities in Dubai. Mohan brings over 20 years of experience in sales and business development in the Middle East and Africa, having previously held senior positions at The Manitowoc Company.
Experience and Strategic Direction
Aziz Amri brings extensive international experience in leading sales and marketing teams in the OEM and heavy equipment industry. His career includes positions in North America, Asia, and the MENA region, where he worked at SANY Canada and SANY International, among others. There, he developed strategies for market entry, brand positioning, as well as building dealer networks and revenue enhancement initiatives in competitive markets.
Andrei Geikalo, founder and CEO of MYCRANE, commented on Amri’s appointment: “Aziz’s broad international experience in the OEM and industrial sector, combined with his proven ability to achieve structured growth in various markets, makes him ideally suited to accelerate our development in Saudi Arabia.” Geikalo emphasized that the combination of local expertise and international resources enables MYCRANE to offer comprehensive solutions for crane procurement.
MYCRANE’s Saudi market strategy is part of a broader expansion plan that also includes the recent opening of a trading branch in Jebel Ali, Dubai. MYCRANE plans to build close relationships with contractors, project developers, and fleet owners to facilitate access to the rental platform and trading inventory. This aims to provide customers with flexible procurement options supported by rigorous inspection and auditing processes.
Saudi Arabia’s investments in infrastructure and mega-projects under Vision 2030 represent a strategic priority for MYCRANE. The new leadership positions are intended to strengthen the company’s market presence and advance the development of services in crane rental and trading.
