Feb 12, 2026 at 10:29 AMDPD UK has announced the appointment of Justin Pegg as the new CEO. His predecessor, Elaine Kerr, will serve as the company’s chair in the future.
Justin Pegg brings over 35 years of experience at DPD and has been a member of the Senior Leadership Team since 2016. Since 2020, he has also served as Executive Director. In his new role, Pegg will not only be the CEO of DPD UK but also the head of the UK/Ireland cluster.
Strategic Realignment Under New Leadership
Elaine Kerr will continue to shape the strategic direction of DPD UK as chair and will work closely with the company’s Executive Board. Yves Delmas, CEO of Geopost, spoke positively about Pegg’s appointment, emphasizing his leadership strength and extensive knowledge of the company. Delmas wished Pegg success in his new role and assured him of the company’s support.
Kerr is recognized for her outstanding leadership and commitment over the past four and a half years. Under her leadership, the company has achieved remarkable successes and undergone positive development. Delmas highlighted that Kerr leaves a lasting legacy and wished her all the best in her new position.
DPD UK is part of Geopost, a European market leader in parcel delivery and e-commerce solutions. The company operates over 10,000 vehicles in the UK and delivers more than 360 million parcels annually. In 2024, DPD UK ranked first in the customer satisfaction survey by Money Saving Expert for the ninth consecutive time.
In November 2023, DPD opened a new branch in the London Docklands to offer a predominantly electric delivery service within the North and South Circular. Currently, 38% of the entire delivery fleet is electric, while the 1,600 heavy goods vehicles are primarily powered by HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil). The company aims to be climate-neutral by 2040.
