Feb 12, 2026 at 10:45 AMDHL Supply Chain has opened a new electric vehicle center in Senec, Slovakia, which is considered the first of its kind in Central Europe, the company reports. With an area of 26,000 square meters, the warehouse provides logistics solutions for lithium-ion batteries, electric components, and the entire e-mobility ecosystem. This opening is part of DHL’s intention to focus on supporting the automotive mobility sector.
Expansion of the Global Network
The new „EV Center of Excellence“ in Slovakia is part of a growing network of now 20 such centers worldwide. According to DHL Supply Chain, more than 200 skilled professionals for new energies and electrification are employed, specializing in the challenges of electric vehicle and battery logistics. The center in Senec was built with consideration for local regulations as well as DHL’s internal guidelines for the storage of hazardous materials. It was constructed according to DHL’s standards to meet the increasing demand for services in the field of e-mobility.
